IFAT Environmental Technology Forum Africa renamed IFAT Africa
- IFAT Africa in future with expanded portfolio
- Conference program remains core component
In September 2015 IFAT Environmental Technology Forum Africa, which took
place in Johannesburg, celebrated an extremely successful premiere. The
event’s portfolio is now being expanded and will in future encompass all the
segments being offered by the parent trade fair IFAT in Munich: water, sewage,
waste and recycling. In this context, the event is being renamed from IFAT
Environmental Technology Forum Africa to IFAT Africa. The next event will take
place in September 2017 at the Johannesburg Expo Centre (JEC).
The maiden event exceeded all expectations and positioned itself firmly in the
African market from the outset: a total of 116 exhibitors from 13 countries
presented their products and innovations covering a total exhibition area of
4,500 square meters. In addition, more than 2,000 visitors from 42 countries
took part in the event and the high-quality supporting program. The forum will
therefore be a core component at IFAT Africa 2017.
